Yoh Aviation has a contract opportunity for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join our customer in Renton, WA.

JOB DUTIES:  
• Independently performs complex structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to support structural certification of the P-8A aircraft.
• This individual may provide full scale test stress support and technical integration to the P-8A Static, Fatigue, and/or Loads Calibration Aircraft structural ground test programs.
• This support may include on aircraft testing and/or off aircraft full scale component testing including analyzing test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Specific areas of responsibility include: stress analysis of aircraft structure, definition of test requirements and load conditions, support of test article and fixture load interface definition, instrumentation definition, pretest analysis, strain predictions and flags, FEM analysis, support of actual testing, and support of correlation and documentation of test results.
• Some travel and customer interaction may be required.

JOB SKILLS:  
• Previous relevant aircraft stress analysis experience and a good understanding of aircraft structures is required. 
• The individual must have strong stress analysis and computer skills and be able, when required, to work independently from the lead. 
• Organizational, task management, and strong coordination and communication skills are required.   Prior experience in structural testing is preferred. 
• Previous experience participating in a multi-disciplined IPT, with the commercial 737 platform, or in a structural test lab is desired. 
• Previous experience supporting full-scale aircraft testing is strongly desired. 
• The individual must be a U.S. Person. 
• Individual must have at least a Bachelor-of-Science Degree in Aeronautics, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or related field.
