Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: IT/Software Development Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree  Software Engineers (Voice,Sattelite,Electronic Warfare) C,C++,UNIX,CORBASurveilance  JOB DUTIES: Software Engineers with experience with various aspects of Mission Computing Software including Voice Comm,  Sattelite Comm, Electronic Warfare, Track Management, Data Fusion, Data Links and Radar and Surveillance. Responsible  for requirements analysis, software design, coding, integration and testing (including support to  flight test) of software for the AEW&C. Principal tasks will range from initial design and  software development through laboratory integration and problem resolution in support of developmental  testing, formal testing and flight test. Familiarity with life-cycle software processes, CMMI and lab  environment testing.JOB SKILLS: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience,  Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate  of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics,  physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Knowledge and experience in Object Oriented design, C/C++ programming language, Unix operating systems and standard software engineering practices. Prior experience with CORBA, TCP/IP, and surveillance systems desired. The successful candidates will be highly motivated self-starters who can come up to speed quickly on the requirements of the system and possesses the ability to work independently.
