Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:
· Conduct reviews of software and firmware life cycle data
· Audit and monitor software engineering processes, procedures and standards
· Provide oversight of DO-178B and DO-254 certification activities and develop applicable procedures and reports
· Conduct process improvement and change management activities
· Develop software quality assurance plans
Qualifications:
· 4+ years of applicable software and/or firmware experience
· Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
· Must be detail oriented and have excellent verbal, written, organizational, analytical and PC skills
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent is required
· Background in AS 9100 quality systems, CMMI, and Six Sigma is preferred.
· Knowledge of process assurance and continuous improvement preferred
· Experience with Serena TeamTrack, Version Manager, or Telelogic DOORS a plus
· Familiarity with DO-178B and DO-254 requirements a plus
