Esterline management views the company's businesses in three segments related to its set of core competencies: Avionics & Controls, Sensors & Systems, and Advanced Materials.DescriptionSOFTWARE ENGINEER: This position is responsible for a variety of engineering assignments. Employee understands and applies engineering concepts and follows established policies and procedures to complete work assignments. REQUIRED EDUCATION: 4 year bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science or Software EngineeringSKILLS & EXPERIENCE: C/C++ Ada Perl Python Windows Programming Data Structures Experience related to the software engineering industry Embedded Real-time software development and verification Perform analysis of requirements, design, development, test and documentation of software applications Experience in avionics with DO-178B, MIL-STD 498 or applicable industry standards Has knowledge of the ISO/SEI CMMI processes and procedures Participates in process improvement Strives to continually improve quality and quantity of work SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Provide customer support and assistance. Support various amounts of overtime depending on project needs.
