Senior Contracts Manager

The Systems Engineering Group (SEG) of QinetiQ North America provides high-value engineering, software solutions, logistics information management, flight training and IT technical support services to the U.S. Department of Defense, allied governments and select commercial partners.

Assists in the management and administration of contracts including overseeing proposal preparation and contract negotiation. Provides leadership and direction in the monitoring of company performance for conformance to original proposal. Analyzes complex bids that may require integrating proposals from subcontractors and other potential vendors. Reviews and resolves all issues affecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions. Participates in formulation of policies, procedures, methods, operating practices and performance standards for contracts department. Responsible for the employment, training, and discipline of assigned employees. US citizenship required.QualificationsThis position requires a Bachelors degree and 8 or more years of related experience with increasing supervisory and management responsibilities.Strong understanding of budgets and cost/benefit analysis, program/proposal management, and contract administration.
