Retrofit Team Supervisor (E Band)

Description of Work: •Supervise a team in support of Stryker Retrofit activities. •Oversee and perform vehicle retrofits activities to ensure that fully mission capable vehicles are issued to the USG customer in accordance with the IETM, specific retrofit work instructions and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) •Supervise and perform Stryker troubleshooting and repair procedures in accordance with the Stryker IETM and retrofit work instructions. •Assist in coordination for vehicle access and return to customer upon completion of retrofits. •Collaborate with customer and retrofit personnel to ensure applied retrofits render the equipment fully operational. •Assist in repair parts ordering as required based on outcomes of technical inspections in accordance with Stryker IETM and retrofit work instructions. •Oversee, assign and perform assigned tasks based on skills and abilities of members, workload and mission priorities. •Conduct hands on supervision and training and/or sustainment training with team members. •Oversee and perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on Stryker vehicles. •Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in Stryker systems using built in test equipment (BITE), test equipment and/or manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation. •Complete maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork related to performance of duties. •Coordinate disposition of unserviceable/nonrepairable parts. Job Requirements: •Associate's Degree or equivalent military experience in maintenance field; Bachelor's Degree preferred •Strong interpersonl skills, communication, and supervisory skills •6-10 years supervisory experience •Military school trained wheel vehicle mechanic (such as US Army MOSs 63B, 63S, 63W or 63B MCM or USMC MOSs 2147, 3521, 3522, 3524). Documented commercial training and/or experience acceptable. Experience on Stryker, LAV 2.5 or LAV III desirable. •Five (5) to 10 years of relative work experience. Equivalent military service acceptable. •Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems and components. •Travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice as required. Be able to obtain US passport and visa. •Potential for exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties. •Skilled in computer operation. •Skilled to perform as a Trainer. •Meet requirements of SP 2-644, Normal color vision, Dexterity in fingers of both hands, Carry 70# (tool box or parts) up to 50'. •Work in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities as well as field environment. •Work in confined space within vehicle interior. •Travel as necessary to support CONIUS and OCONUS Stryker locations.
