Regional CNC Field Service Engineer Position - Pacific Northwest Region

Field Service Engineer – CNC Machine Tools – Portland or Seattle Position Description:1.  Major CNC Machine Tool Distributor has openings for a Field Service Engineer to travel to customer sites to service the machines. Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics and controls. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and installs.2.  If you are tired and bored with going to the same place and doing the same thing every day, then this position offers tremendous variety. You travel to new places and see different processes and applications every day. 3.  Position offers excellent benefits including a bonus and car allowance.4.  The current openings are located in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA.5.  Approximately 35% out of town travel is required. Relocation assistance is provided. Requirements: 1.  Experience working on CNC controlled machine tools.2.  Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred.3.  Must be willing to travel 35% overnight.4.  Strong electronic troubleshooting skills.5.  Strong mechanical aptitude.6.  Strong electrical aptitude.7.  Ability to read electrical schematics.8.  Ability to read mechanical drawings.9.  Experience working on hydraulics.10. Experience working on pneumatics.11. Experience troubleshooting PLC controls is a plus.12.
