Description of Work: • Provide supervision for up 13 team members by assigning tasks based on skills, abilities, and workload using mission priorities to maintain brigade fleet operational readiness of 90% or above. • Supervises priority of parts effort for a brigade fleet supporting up to 310 Stryker platforms with repair parts processing. • Coordinate and interface with customer representatives at the brigade and battalion command levels and those from the program manager office. • Receive, store, and issue repair parts. Establish and maintain stock control and accounting records. Conduct location surveys and periodic inventories. • Establish and maintain records for both manual and automated maintenance management systems. Prepare input and interpret the output of these systems. • Conduct hands on training or sustainment training program for General Dynamics Land Systems logisticians and United States Army Mechanics, Operators, or Leaders. • Supervise and perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on HMMWV's, Forklifts (including training), and other support equipment. • Supervise repair parts process, (accountability, shipping, receiving, storage, packaging of material, and technical documentation both manual and automated). • Complete administrative forms and other paperwork related to performance of duties. • Provide supervision and leadership for 13 person team supporting the US Army in peacetime and war. • Supervise personnel in accordance with ISO processes. • Provide supervision and property accountability for all assigned property. • Supervise personnel readiness (hiring, finance, travel, time reporting, deployability, safety, and discipline). .Job Requirements: •• Military school trained Logistics, Supply (such as US Army MOS 92A, 92Y). Documented commercial training and/or experience acceptable. Field experience on fielded Stryker variants preferred. • Five (5) to 10 years of relevant experience. Equivalent military service acceptable. * Six (6) to 10 years of supervisory experience. • Associate degree recommended or equivalent technical certification. • Strong interpersonal skills, communication (Verbal and Written), and leadership skills. • Working knowledge of supply and supply management (stock control and accounting, warehousing, location surveys, and inventories). • Working knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) and maintenance shop operations. • Relocate to vicinities of Fort Richardson, AK, Ft. Wainwright, AK, Ft. Lewis, WA, Yakima, WA, Fort Irwin, CA, Ft. Polk, LA, and other CONUS and OCONUS training sites. • Travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to support contingency operations. Be able to obtain US passport. • Work in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities as well as field environment. • Occasional work in confined space within vehicle interior. • Potential for exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties. • Physical requirements: Must pass company required deployment physical. • Meet requirements of SP 2-644. • Normal color vision. • Dexterity in fingers of both hand. • Carry 70lbs (tool box or parts) up to 50'. • Multicultural work experience preferred. • Leadership and Supervision experience. • Administrative and office skills required (Microsoft Office, EXCEL and Power Point). • U.S. Army/Military, Standard Army Maintenance System (SAMS), Unit Level Logistics System (ULLS), The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
