This includes providing engineering support in the assessment of DoD, Intelligence Community, Joint, Multiservice and Service initiatives. The Principal Engineer will also be responsible for managing a diverse support team across multiple USMC intelligence programs. Additionally, the Principal Engineer will assist in program reviews and assessments of systems as they progress through the systems engineering and DoD acquisition cycle, providing assessments and recommendations to Program Managers, Project Officers and key Decision Makers. The Principal Engineer will guide and advise other technical personnel on system engineering processes, regulations and procedures as they relate to the DoD 5000.Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required.QualificationsThis position requires a bachelor?s degree and 10-years of related experience. Technical degree preferred. Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills are a must. Thorough understanding of the Systems Engineering process, particularly as it relates to Requirements Management (RM) and Traceability, Test & Evaluation (T&E), Information Assurance (IA), and Configuration Management (CM). Prior military intelligence experience preferred. Secret security clearance required and active or eligibility for Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred. Current or former DoD C4I experience required. Experience with Marine Corps C4I is a plus. DoD 5000.2 experience required. Experience with RM, T&E, IA, and CM are a plus. Experience or previous work with Marine Corps Systems Command desired.
