We also launch exciting new careers every day. Join us in bringing the benefits of space down to Earth! Lead Geosynchronous Spacecraft structural layout design team. Lead team of designers, engineers and analysts developing and spacecraft structures in support of program requirements. Follow suppliers from hardware order through delivery and testing of flight equipment. Perform cost and schedule planning for the project and assess progress made against these plans using Orbital Cost Account Management tools. Supervise spacecraft structural layout integration activities Minimum BSME/AE (MSME/AE preferred). 7-9 years of spacecraft structural design, manufacturing, and test experience required. Experience with the fundamentals of Spacecraft structure layouts & design.Familiarity with Bus and payload design requirementsFamiliarly with finite element methods and thermal analysisCreative thinker and experience with composite structure design, analysis, fabrication and testingFamiliarity with Pro-Engineer CAD softwarePast experience with mechanical assembly & testingGood interpersonal, team building and presentation skillsExperience with Static proof & Vibration TestingExperience with cost and schedule project management
