OSP/ISP Engineer
This position is located in our VA, Petersburg facilityProvides technical expertise to customers, users or company personnel either at domestic or international field sites. Designs systems, software and equipment layout. Develops, implements, installs, tests, modifies and/or operates complex equipment and systems. Develops test plans and preventative maintenance programs. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.Requires Bachelor's degree.Requires minimum 2 years experience.Quality Assurance/Quality Checker of telecommunications infrastructure installations, to include manhole, conduit, copper, and fiber cables.b. Supervises the install, maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, construction and testing of various types of Copper, Fiber, and CAT6 Cables and connections.c. Prepare and update Plant in Place documentation to ensure accountability for active equipment and circuits in a Tech Control Facility.d.
