Manager, Subcontracts and Procurement
The Systems Engineering Group (SEG) of QinetiQ North America provides high-value engineering, software solutions, logistics information management, flight training and IT technical support services to the U.S. Department of Defense, allied governments and select commercial partners.

Supports Program Operations by monitoring subcontractor performance (i.e. deliverables), works with program finance to ensure funding is being tracked and with accounting to ensure vendor/subcontractor invoices are being processed in a timely manner. Individual is actively engaged in the proposal process, reviewing analyzing pricing data received from vendors/subcontractors in support of new business pursuits. Supports the Director of Contracts - Defense Solutions Group on miscellaneous projects.QualificationsBachelors degree and 8 or more years of related experience. Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM) highly desirable. Development of polices, procedures and processes for Purchasing and Subcontracts. Experience in establishment and maintenance of a DCMA-approved CPSR, and utilization of Costpoint Purchasing Module. Readily shares knowledge/expertise with others. Coaches & mentors others. Continuously scans environment for new ideas. Creative application of ideas to programs. Delegates whole tasks; empowers/ enables team members. Fosters crossfunctional teamwork. Lives & creates a service mind-set throughout organization. Understands business model. Aligns Accounting goals with businessstrategy.
