Laser Development Engineer
Position: Laser Development Engineer Location: WA Experience: 5+ years Education: BS/MS Physics/Optics or equivalentJob Description: Development engineer will be responsible for assembling and characterizing parts, components and systems for lasers and laser products.Responsibilities and Qualifications: * experience creating optical system designs * understand how to perform optical measuring and analyze optical data * experience designing optical experiments * experience developing laboratory lasers * knowledge of optical alignment and beam quality measurements, * experience with air and water cooling of diode lasers, optical setups, fiber/diode laser mounting * experience with beam and power testing diode and diode pumped solid state lasers * practical and theoretical optics experience * experience developing optical systems and lasers in high tech R&D environment * product development or manufacturing experienceplease contact bmurray@mri-rtp.com MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
