Intelligence Technican Assc Sr

This position is in the Chantilly area and entails working in a dynamic records management and archive facility. Job includes the servicing of records request to include scanning, filing and storage of records. Provide guidance to officers in the archiving, preservation, disposition and access to records. Will support the Records Recovery and Preservation program by being the POC for all incoming records destined for program processing. Pull boxes from shelves and replace them. Boxes may weigh up to 50 lbs. and may require working from mobile ladder stands. Utilize computer literacy skills, particularly in the use of MS EXCEL and WORD. Make customer deliveries in the NVA area on a moments' notice. Work as a team and make process improvement suggestions to management. Hours of operation are 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. Requires day to day interaction with customers and senior management. Required Skills: Must have a HS diploma and a minimum of 6 years experience or equivalent education and experience. Must have a TS SCI with CI polygraph security clearance. At least 5 years experience in a records center, records archives or large warehouse Demonstrated capability for attention to detail. Must be able to pull boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. from shelves and replace them. Requires ability to work with such boxes from mobile ladder stands. Must be very detail oriented and computer literate with the ability to efficiently use MS EXCEL and WORD. Must be willing to make customer deliveries in the NVA area on a moments' notice. Must be able to work as a team and be able to make process improvement suggestions to management. Desired Skills: Working Knowledge of Records Management a plus. Prior experience in working in a records archive is a plus. Working as a member of a team and prior customer experience a plus. Required Education (including Major): High School diploma. Associates Degree in Library Science or Records Management preferred.
