Hardware Engineer - U.S. Citizen

This is a long term open ended contract position

Hardware Engineer - Responsible for planning and executing Subsystem activities and programs in support of military vehicles.  Will be a member of the Electronic Hardware team supporting electronic fabrication, test and field support for developmental military products.  Prepare and evaluate CIDs, ICDs, RDDs, and SSDDs for LRU development.  Work with Software and Systems Engineering to collaboratively derive hardware requirements.  Assist in developing detailed designs, troubleshooting existing designs and supporting obsolescence issues.  Support project management efforts such as Request for Quotes, Cost Estimates, and schedule development.

Requirements - Detailed knowledge of electronic hardware design and troubleshooting.  Experience with microprocessor design and programming, PLD design and programming (Xilinx, VHDL, Verilog) is desirable.  Must be familiar with Orcad (Capture and Pspice).  Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree.  Experience with DOORS for requirements management is preferred.
