Field Service Hardware Supervisor

Systems Division provides select Government, commercial, and international customers value-added, total worldwide systems solutions for their air and missile defense, air traffic control, communications, command and control, range, spacelift, surveillance, and force protection needs, as well as full logistics support services for facilities and equipment. Responsible for developing, presenting and maintaining detailed mobile depot maintenance plans. Responsible for orchestrating rapid mobile depot maintenance team deployment to sites in response to urgent and/or emergency maintenance requests. Tasks includes development of work plans, project plans, MS Project resource management, schedules, budgets, implementation or installation plans, informal and formal testing, functional and physical configuration audits, drawing development, and completion of all deliverables. Experience using Earned Value Management principles is desirable. Experience in a hardware repair and maintenance environment is highly desirable.' Participate in monitor and control of mobile depot repair actions at 10 field station sites. Repair actions may be emergency or urgent depot level maintenance actions, or pre-planned maintenance to include preparing planning and reporting documentation.' Participate in implementation of the depot maintenance plan for the AFSSS system to ensure the system is in good repair, is operating within TO specifications, and is optimized for full operational potential. The plans will identify required depot maintenance actions (e.g., inspections, tests, adjustments, calibrations, preventative maintenance actions) to be conducted quarterly at each site.' Brief project status to senior management personnel' Plans and executes EDLMs, UDLMs, and tech assists; coordinated with site personnel.' Oversee the analysis of standard change requests/problem reports/deficiency reports; estimating the effort to implement projects and/or changes; implementing radar changes within the parameters of AFSSS hardware and software suite; testing; and overseeing installation support at the Software Programming Agency (SPA), and at the operational sites.' Manage filed service team personnel resources to maintain a constant readiness posture to support urgent and emergency maintenance requests.' Establish and track repair lab metrics for reporting to senior management and government customers.' Manage the implementation of Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) based on changes brought on by maintenance actions' Develop Technical Orders (TO) to for new procedures, as well as updates to existing TO's' Complies with established SENSOR policies and procedures that are applicable across the projects.' Develops and presents detailed and complex presentations to the project teams, management, and customer personnel in a clear and concise manner.' Identify and assess project challenges and develops/recommends solutions for presentation to management. ' Understand common CM practices and coordinate CM levels for the team to make changes ' Provide all inputs for Earned Value Management on project(s) to Program Control' Ensure Award Fee milestones / criteria are clearly understood by all personnel and integrated into project planning and execution. Ability to plan and manage to achieve maximum award fee.' Develop statements of work for subcontractors and ensure performance of those subcontractors' Participate in the identification, documentation, and communication of strategic & urgent sustainment & modernization issues, if applicable.' Coordinate sub-contract and vendor development effort.' Review, interact & comply with program level internal operating procedures (ISO/CMMI).' Support the customer in defining project scope, expectations, and requirements.' Develop integrated project plans, and document functional and technical specifications/requirements for project deliverables based on operational analysis and engineering requirements.' Support the development and delivery of any project/product line reporting documents/artifacts.' Conducting meetings with the customer' Understand the requirements of the project based on meetings with the customer' Communicate with site personnel regarding any issues that may arise and the best course of action to resolve them Minimum: BS plus 7 yrs experience; MS plus 5 yrs experience.Must be computer proficient in MS Office products' Up to 30% business travel required.' Strong written and oral communication skills are required including ability to organize, write and deliver artifacts to senior management and customers. ' Must work well in a team environment; be personable, and able to deal with customers, government representatives, peers and associates.Primary duty location is Fredericksburg, VA Minimum: Must be a US citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required; may be required to obtain an interim clearance within 6 months of document submittal. Relevant equivalent experience may apply.
