We have been serving the U.S. Government for over 50 years and we are searching for someone with strong financial forecasting and planning experience with a governemt contractor to join our Federal Services Group in Reston, Virginia.Sr. Financial Planning and Forecasting Manager:Provide analysis, forecasting and planning for Federal Systems within the corporate systems and Deltek systems (Costpoint, COBRA, E-Plann)At the Corporate level, Financial Planning & Analysis/ Operation Analysis provides forecasting and planning on an enterprise wide basis to insure that the Business Unit forecasts, plans and strategies are consistent with Corporate wide goals and strategic initiatives. Assists in determining intermediate goals and contingency plans. Provides support to senior management on special projects and analyses. At the Business Unit or location level FP&A provide analysis, forecasting and planning appropriate to the organization. Usually manages other managers and/or high level individual contributors. Focuses on wide-ranging and cross-functional application knowledge. Encourages others to consider innovative alternatives and contributes to business strategy. Sets and directs action plans. Understands functional concepts and drives for results.QualificationsA minimum of a Bachelors Degree and 10 years of related experience working for government contractors. Stong forecasting and financial planning experience is required.
