This is an opportunity to work as a Design Integration Engineer in the flight controls Department.1. Apply knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and techniques used in airplane systems, flight crew operations, maintenance operations, and manufacturing operations to develop and support Aircraft High Lift Systems. Integrate new actuation component designs and specifications necessary to meet system requirements.2. Prior knowledge or experience working with supplier and customer requirements, applicable company and government agency regulations (e.g. relevant to flight safety, reliability, maintainability, cost, performance, and schedule compliance) to develop mechanical actuation system.3. Ability to design in CATIA V5, specify, and evaluate mechanical flight control systems and architectures for adherence to company, customer, and regulatory requirements.4. Ability to translate functional and component requirements into designs/specifications for gear actuators, torque shafts, ball screws, sensors, servos, electric/hydraulic motors, linkages and pilot controls.5. Ability to perform mechanical system validation and verification utilizing simulations, laboratories and test vehicles.
