Engineer for Bids & Proposals

Excellent career opportunity for a strong Industrial or Manufacturing Engineer (must be degreed) with a strong experience coordinating and writing bids and proposals for aerospace and defense projects.  You will interface with all manufacturing subject matter experts and the estimation of new design and build to print proposals.  For consideration, you must be able to demonstrate strong understanding of the following:

* Evaluate RFP for compliance requirements

* Manage the project calendar for establishment of development milestones

* Work on ALL PHASES of the proposal development-bid presentation-acceptance as needed

* Manage other proposal coordinators and technical writers on your assigned project

* Be the historical proposal resident and support review process including final book check

Must have requirements for consideration:

Minimum 4 year degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering

Minimum 3+ years of proposal process experience in a manufacturing setting

Exceptional technical writing, proofreading and editing along with strong MS Office and CRM database skills

Thrive working under tight deadlines while working through internal teams, individually, and with vendors

Big plus if certified on Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma

Must have previous manufacturing assembly and test experience within Aerospace and/or Defense projects

Good experience with product integration and assembly processes required for consideration
