Electrical Engineer

Electroimpact Inc. of Mukilteo WA has openings for entry level electrical engineers as well as experienced EEs. Candidates should have BSEE or equivalent degree and we will give an engineering test. In the first year the emphasis will be on electrical tech work to thoroughly learn the job and then progress to project engineering which is both design and build. Another direction an engineer can pursue is machine programming.  We are currently building machines which wind graphite fiber onto the 787.  Machines that install rivets and bolts into the A380 wings.  Many other exotic machines as well.  The company was founded in 1986 by Dr. Peter Zieve as a haven for engineers. If you enjoy ham radio, using hand tools or working on cars you will be able to use these skills. Electroimpact provides factory automation solutions including CNC controlled machine tools and computerized fixtures. Electroimpact has grown to be the largest system integrator of aircraft assembly lines.  A significant customer base provides Electroimpact with projects throughout the world. Electroimpact is an engineer driven organization that seeks individuals with strong communication skills coupled with a solid engineering background. We look for individuals who prefer to be involved in the product lifecycle from system conceptualization to in-service application. With a strong history of engineers that build what they create; we look for people with the aptitude to design on the screen and apply in the field. Most projects are based in Mukilteo but applicant must be willing to do short-term travel on an annual basis to support installation efforts and warranty work. Electroimpact is 100% owned by engineers that work in the business. This creates an environment in which good engineering has a higher emphasis than good profitability. At Electroimpact the engineer is involved in every aspect of a project including concept, selling, business, designing, manufacturing, integration, shipping, installing and factory support. The engineer is in communication with and is directly responsible to the customer/user. For the avoidance of doubt we employ 180 engineers, zero salesmen and zero businessmen. We have jobs that need electrical engineers to join on immediately. We expect that you will permanently locate within 45 minutes travel to Mukilteo, WA. Apply by e-mail to eejob@Electroimpact.com . In the body of the e-mail (no attachments please) state all of the following:
1. applicant name address and phone number
2. which position at Electroimpact that the application is applying for
3. the exact college degrees earned, the granting institutions, locations and dates earned
