Data Analyst

The Systems Engineering Group (SEG) of QinetiQ North America provides high-value engineering, software solutions, logistics information management, flight training and IT technical support services to the U.S. Department of Defense, allied governments and select commercial partners.

US Citizenship required.Under direct supervision, the Data Analyst provides support for a variety of administration or technical areas. Provides customer service and support responding to customer or organization needs in a timely manner. Effectively communicates with other staff members at all levels on administration and technical matters. May provide technical typing and word processing requiring knowledge in computer-based documentation and presentation techniques. May provide clerical support with correspondence, preparing records packages, and a variety of administrative functions including composing routine correspondence. May support end-users for PC desktop applications and hardware interacting with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development to install or restore service. May support engineers and technicians in a field or laboratory setting to gather and record data. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within assigned area. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to accomplish goals. Background in Public Works/Utility setting preferred.QualificationsThis position requires a High School and 3 years of data analysis experience.Must have on the job experience using Excel and Access to build and query databases. Minimum of 2 years analyzing, standardizing and validating government facility management and/or financial data.
