Job Description:
We currently have an opening for an Assembler I at our Redmond Facility. This would be a direct labor employee, capable of supporting production processes through set-up, assembly, machine operations, etc. Some specific abilities include, but are not limited to:
Basic Computer Skills, specifically MS Office.Ability to multi-task up to three jobs within assigned area.Ability to meet all product quality standards (ISO)Ability to identify errors in documentation.Understand and follow area safety requirements, including taking an active role in accident prevention.Must be able to operate a microscope for an 8 hour shift during scheduled workAbility to wear environmental garments.Works under close supervision of area Lead or experienced employees.Ability and willingness to work with hazardous chemicals as required.Must be willing to participate in teams.Ability and willingness to continuously improve personal production standards.
NOTE: There is no relocation available for this position.Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Legally able to work in country where position is located.
Must be able to read, speak and take direction in English.
Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate.
Must be able push, pull, bend or carry a minimum of 30 lbs.
Must be able to work with a microscope and sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to work varied shifts, including second shift.
Previous Microscope experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work on multiple priorities.
