Here at Liturgical Publications Inc. we are extending our traditional print products and services, seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual with a passion for both the latest technology and experience in fulfilling business needs.  If you are an experienced Web Developer with a background in HTML, CSS, and LAMP technologies, and a desire to dive into Web 2.0, apply with us.

Job Responsibilities:

· Design, implement and document web-based, data driven applications

· Assist in the ideation and design process for our new on-line services

· Maintain existing web applications

· Participate in design, standards, and code reviews

· Work on a variety of projects in an adaptive, agile team environment

Requirements: 

· BS degree in Computer Science or related field

· 2 years + hands-on experience as a web developer with HTML, CSS, and LAMP

· Experience with PHP, MySQL, Linux and/or FreeBSD

· Working knowledge of Drupal or Joomla! is strongly desired

· Experience with Web 2.0 technologies or building on-line communities a strong plus

· Solid understanding of Information Architecture principles and code design frameworks

· Ability to rapidly prototype and effectively communicate your own ideas in a team environment

· A passion for keeping up with emerging web technologies coupled with a pragmatic understanding of how and when to apply them.
