Sr. Interactive Designer / Art Director - Agency

24 Seven is seeking a conceptual thinking Senior Interactive Designer / Interactive Art Director for its NW client.  The successful candidate must be able to confidently and clearly communicate concepts, strategies and critiques in a team environment.  This position is about the interaction of multiple websites, a background or strong knowledge of UX (user experience) design is recommended.   Mission:
The mission of the Senior Designer is to create imaginative, compelling and forward thinking designs, mentor fellow designers and strengthen the design team by supporting the team objectives. Description:
The Senior Designer works closely with the Art Director, Creative Director and Technical Creative Director to support both the needs of the client and the creative vision of the agency. The SD applies design leadership and strategic thought to interactive design. The SD must posses the ability to take abstract concepts and turn them into visually compelling and innovative designs.  The SD must be able to work independently and have strong problem solving skills. The SD will be working closely and collaborating with others in a team environment under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:• Works with a team to conceptualize design concepts and strategies• Strategize and develops proper flow of information, and ensures that design solution integrates technical and business logic• Participates in client presentations• Mentors other members of the design team• Maintains and extends creative standards for the group• Actively participates in work critiques• Inspires other group members through the creative process• Motivates, challenges and inspires new methods of creative executions• Assists the AD, CD and TCD in ensuring creative deadlines are met • Maintains a positive creative design culture 
Required Skills:• Bachelors (or higher) degree in a creative discipline (Relevant experience and training will be considered).• Five+ years of professional experience in interactive/web/multimedia.• Working knowledge of different platforms/browsers, and their design constraints on the Web.• Some experience working with clients and internal partners.• Ability to work well with creative teams including information architects, designers, and writers.• Demonstrate ability to lead and multi-task effectively under pressure.• Advanced understanding and experience with current web technologies• Proactive, conceptual, constructive, fearless, charismatic, smart, and committed• Positive attitude with great follow through.
