Public Relations Manager

We are looking for a strategic thinker, familiar with the fluid pace of a Public Relations organization, able to prioritize many tasks at once and have the technical savvy to properly position consumer Internet software and services. A demonstrated track record in crisis management, proactive communication, creative placement and execution of large-scale PR events are also critical success factors for this position. Another key attribute for this position is the ability to balance reactive and day to day PR with proactive contacts and discussions leading to coverage. The ability to create a network of proven and established press and media contacts is key to the overall success of this position within the scope of our consumer business. Solid professional reputation and credibility within the PR community is a must. We are looking for a high energy individual who thrives in changing environment. This person must also be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills. We are looking for outstanding communication and influence skills as well as an entrepreneurial spirit. This job requires a minimum of 5+ years of fast-paced, high-visibility PR experience - preferably within a corporate environment and with increasing responsibility. Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be able to prioritize many competing initiatives at once and possess the skills necessary to position a successful consumer-centric product launch. This person will act as the primary press contact for potentially a variety of offerings including Music, Casual Games, and Video.A candidate must have a demonstrated track record in creating strategy for and executing consumer product launches. Proactive and creative product placement and execution of large-scale PR events are critical success factors for this position. Just as importantly, we are seeking someone with strong contacts and a demonstrated ability to place executives on major broadcast programs, and generate major business, consumer and technical press. . Other key attributes for this position include an ability to balance reactive and day-to-day PR with proactive contacts and discussions leading to coverage. Ability to create a network of proven and established press and media contacts within the consumer and technology PR communities is key while maintaining a solid professional reputation and credibility.
