Marketing Research Analyst NEEDED for industry leading firm with exceptional growth potential!

The Mergis Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Research Analyst to join a fortune size firm in Richmond, VA.  Our client, a leader in their industry has an immediate need for an Analyst to develop a data management process to support their various lines of business with Sales Trend Analysts, Optimization analysis, and Media Mix Modeling.  The primary role of this position is to perform analytics that deliver improved results to internal and external customers.Detailed responsibilities include: ·  Establishing a data repository to be used by the client for the proper marketing mix.·  Developing profiles, predictive models and segmentation systems that will enhance our clients performance·  Delivering value-added insight into analysis results and recommendations for action based on findings·  Effectively communicating our capabilities, building relationships with key agency and client contacts, and managing client expectations Required Qualifications: · Bachelors degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or related field · SAS and Microsoft Office proficiency · Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, comfort working in a remotely-managed environment, and ability to manage multiple tasks· 5+ years applied analytical work experience · Desirable: o SAS Programming (5 years +) o Analytical/database marketing experience (5 years +) o GIS Analysis skills (ESRI ArcView software)This opportunity includes a competitive compensation plan and full benefits package.  PLEASE APPLY TO THIS AD FOR IMMEDIATE AND CONFIDENTIAL CONSIDERATION.
