Responsibilities: Oversees the development of company marketing programs. Assessment of potential markets. Product life cycle planning. Coordination of technical product development. Development of product strategies. Definition of promotional activities and product launch.Requires: Knowledge of retail, any background at a manufacturer of goods sold at retail or a retailer. Project Management – this position involves executing various programs and merchandising solutions at retail which involves lots of moving parts and lots of people involved. This job requires someone to keep track of all the deliverables, keep all the involved parties accountable and on time. Detailed/Organized/Multitasker – this is a very fast paced environment with lots of details as it involves working with multiple retailers simultaneously. Needs to be able to be okay with very busy, complex lists of to-do’s and details. Marketing background helpful. Communication Skills – written and verbal –must be comfortable speaking with a variety of people both internal and external as a sales/marketing representative. Focus is on retail execution for all hardware products – working with Account Managers and Accounts to make things happen in store including (promotions, merchandising, advertising, marketing).
