Group Direct Marketing Manager

Strong and stable client in the financial services industry is seeking a professional and success oriented person to fill a Group Marketing Manager role. This person will be responsible for developing and executing a customer focused marketing plan that supports the mission and goals of the Business Banking, Commercial Banking, and Commercial Real Estate groups. They will work closely with the business and commercial line of business managers to develop and execute the marketing plan. Their success will be based on focusing these resources, succinctly and clearly articulating the business challenges; encouraging creative business solutions; identifying a plan of attack; and executing against that plan.

Responsibilities: Improve marketing knowledge and expertise within the departmentGuide and develop a team of Marketing Consultants helping them utilize all available resources to develop and deliver a marketing plan that meets the needs of the business.Provide understanding of our customers, markets, and competitorsRecommend, within the context of standard procedure, modifications to business line products. Plan, initiate and direct market research to determine trends, industry needs, and customer satisfaction and preferences, to optimize product planning, develop targeted markets and recommend pricing policy.Help acquire new households and businessesIdentify new target markets and areas of opportunity based on knowledge of the markets, products and customer segments and customer needs.Develop and implement customer strategies and tactics, in conjunction with the business partners, to acquire new households (i.e. increase net new businesses/clients)Improve retention and deepen relationshipsHelp manage and enhance the customer experience

 

Requirements:
Bachelors degree required7-10 years experience in direct marketing, retention and segmentationPossesses a strong understanding of business/commercial banking client and segment marketing. Knowledge of brand management and business to business marketing background is a plus. Must have 7+ years experience in financial services goods and services.Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
