3D AutoCAD Detailer

 

ImagiCorps, an Exhibit design and fabrication company in Redmond Washington is seeking a 3D Modeler/CAD Detailer with a minimum of 2+ years experience in utilizing AutoCAD in 3d environments. Successful candidates will have experience in utilizing AutoCAD for exhibits or cabinet making.  The candidate must also be able to manage and work in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities.  Experience with SolidWorks, 3D Studio Max and/or the Adobe Suite strongly preferred.  AutoCAD drafter/detailer

Summary of Responsibilities Construct 3D models in AutoCAD. Create construction documentation (shops) drawings for submittal.         Make drawing revisions per Project Manager’s direction. Create fabrication drawings from renderings, 3D models (from different CAD programs), and hand sketches. Direct (hands on) approach to manufacturing/fabrication of all of our products (prototype or production. Coordinate with all internal departments and project managers to fulfill manufacturability of products within budget parameters. Confers with project team members to clarify or resolve problems and develop design. Coordinate installation with General Contractors and trades associated with the construction industry.

 

 

Summary of Requirements 4+ years related AutoCAD experience. Must be able to read & interpret architectural drawings. Estimate from architectural drawings and plans. Strong problem solving and decision making skills. Organized and detail orientated. Comfortable with working on fluid timelines. Ability to adapt to client change. Can work with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills and a TEAM player. Proficiency with business software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
