Vice President Corporate Tax
Job Summary:Vice President Corporate Tax is responsible for assuring that: (1) the tax cost of doing business is minimized, (2) all required tax returns are accurately and timely filed and (3) the tax related information on the statutory and GAAP financial statements are properly reported. Assists corporate and operational senior management in evaluating major initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities:? Develops enterprise-wide tax minimization policy.? Coordinates with other senior management to assure enterprise-wide after-tax profits and cash flows are maximized.? Ensures all corporate tax policies support Phoenix?s mission.? Final responsibility for SOX compliance for tax department.? Independently manages corporate tax department.? Performs miscellaneous duties as required by management.? Must maintain appropriate attendance.Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience:? Deep understanding of application of U.S. income tax laws to Phoenix?s operations.? Broad based knowledge of financial management of insurance financial service companies.? Outstanding leadership and management skills.? Excellent written and oral communication skills.?
