Supervisor, Financial Services Billing

POSITION DESCRIPTION- Supervision

 

This position is responsible for the billing responsibilities and statistical reporting. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Co-management of the revenue process – Monthly process coordination from accrual and invoice production through review, approval and posting.  Interface with the General Ledger Accounting and Financial Planning groups. Reporting of billing and collection statistics for client's separately managed and sub-advised accounts Audit of billing to legal contracts to ensure preparation of accurate fee calculations.Enforce compliance with established policies and proceduresParticipate in regular audit of the revenue functionContinuously strive to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the billing process through automation and workflow redesign. Participate in system testing as necessary.Client Service - Support multiple internal and external clients.  Resolve disputes through coordination with Account Management, Compliance, Back Office and Consultants.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Strong analytical, technical and supervisory skills are essential.  Ability and desire to work in a fast paced and demanding environment is important.

 

Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelors degree (required) in finance, accounting, business administration, management or information technology.  A minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory position directly managing 3+ employees. Also must have very strong Microsoft Excel skills (required).  Investment management, financial services, financial analysis and system implementation experience a plus.  Must have strong math and problem solving skills as well as exceptional communication skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
