Responsibilities include: developing and delivering quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations; performing state and local tax compliance reviews; assisting clients with state and local tax controversies; researching and drafting technical memoranda regarding income and franchise tax issues; managing the work of client service team members; and participating in and contributing to attaining team goals.Qualifications:  Four or more years of experience performing tax research and providing technical advice on state and local tax issues Bachelor's degree required.  CPA with Master’s degree in Taxation or a JD with LLM in Tax a plus Experience training and supervising staff and seniors Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be a highly motivated self-starter and have experience in managing multiple client engagements Experience in public accounting and/or a state and local government revenue department is an advantage Experience with property, employment, sales/use, gross receipts and other miscellaneous state and local taxes is a plusPlease visit our careers website at www.mossadams.com/careeropps/ to upload your resume and apply.Moss Adams is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
