Find out more about us at: www.thementornetwork.com  Purpose: We are currently seeking a highly motivated leader to manager our state accounting activities.  Responsibilities: Preparation of annual budgets. Preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts. Review and detailed analysis of financial statements Oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Manage contract renewals and amendments. Oversight of month end close process. Lead and supervise finance staff including training and performance evaluation. Foster on-going staff development to ensure maximum transferability of skill between functions as appropriate. Review balance sheet accounts and reconciliations. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and SOx rules and regulations Cost Reporting – Manage annual audit and assistance in preparation of Audited Consolidated Operational Report. Assist the Business Manager with other projects as requiredRequirements: BA/BS degree in accounting or related field CPA/MBA preferred, but not required. Prior experience working in human/health services industry preferred, but not required. 5 years plus years of accounting and/or finance experience, including at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience. This position will manage a staff of two full time Staff Accountants. This position requires strong written and verbal communications skills. Must have strong computer skills including accounting systems, budgeting software, and excel.
