Staff/Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant (or strong staff) Senior Accountant position for a $250mm+ industry leader. This position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager and will be part of a dynamic group.  There will be an opportunity to learn from our top management and get great exposure. Responsibilities: Maintain a variety of general ledger accounts which includes preparation of reconciliations and account analysis and preparation and posting of journal entries to GL. Responsible for recording and tracking payroll and related accruals, accounts receivables, cash and investments, analyzing monthly variances and assisting with other tasks as assigned.  Preparation of work papers to support balance sheet and P&L account balances. Assist with monthly financial closings and generate, review analyze financial statements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-7years of experience and solid knowledge of US GAAP. Exposure or experience with SEC (10k,10q) filings is highly preferred Strong General Ledger knowledge and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.  Experience using large ERP (Oracle, JDEdwards, SAP) Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high tech environment CPA or Public Accounting Experience Strong database skills preferred Desire and ability to work in a team and participate in a team environment.
