Wolinsky, Becker & Hurewitz, LLP specializes in performing contractual compliance audits related to intellectual property. We audit companies with licensed rights from our clients and are required to report royalties and participations to our clients. Some of the services we provide are:

We are seeking a Staff Auditor to join our team in the Los Angeles, CA area. All experience levels are encouraged to apply!



Staff Auditor



Responsibilities:

·  Perform contractual compliance audit procedures for engagement

·  Read, interpret and summarize key terminology in agreements

·  Analyze data in Excel  and Access order to determine proper accounting to client

·  Keep organized work papers documenting our work performed

·  Create report schedules in Excel

·  Write text in Word describing audit issues for final reports

·  Communicate with key audit company personnel and clients on outstanding issues in moving audit toward completion and settlement resolution

·  Meet deadlines and budgets

·  Travel as necessary (minimal)



Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and previous experience working in staff auditing. Working knowledge of Access, Excel and Word; other database software and IT experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, is essential. We are also looking for a self starter who can work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment, has the ability to work on several different projects at any given time with a high level of attention to detail.
