Staff Accountant with a Twist
Description:
Publicly Traded, Industry Leader, Technology Company has been in business for almost half a century, is looking for a staff accountant to join it's "growing" department. This is a position created due to growth not because anyone left. This is a very stable company where people don't often leave. We are looking for someone that is looking to join a team, not just find another job.

The corporate office, where this position is located, is in Woodland Hills.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing monthly journal entries
* General Ledger account analyses
* Maintain detail schedules of assets and liabilities
* Daily treasury functions and cash management
* Preparation of property tax returns, processing tax bills and tax assessments
* Bank account reconciliations
* financial statements
* Prepare fiscal year-end analyses and support for financial statements footnotes
GL, general ledger, financial statements, cash management, reconcilliations, YE (year end) and more....Requirements:
B.A. or B.S. college degree in accounting
MUST HAVE at least 2+ years of experience in accounting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to solve problems and work in a team
Communicate well verbally and in writing
Stability in Career History
CPA or on Track preferred
GL, general ledger, financial statements, cash management, reconcilliations, YE (year end) and more....
