Description:
Responsible for the preparation of the quarterly and year end tax provision. The qualified candidate must have necessary FAS 109 experience and be very organized and self motivated.

Responsibilities:
Manage the FAS 109 Provision process Prepare annual effective rate calculation Review FIN 48 calculations Review tax entries associated with FAS 123r Review Return to Provision differences Review all tax stream output Coordinate with outside auditors Prepare SEC tax disclosures Ability to successful research SEC tax issues Maintain strong FAS 109, FIN 48 and other related tax accounting knowledge


Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Taxation, Accounting or equivalent CPA required Requires 8 plus years experience in either public accounting and/or corporate tax department Apply knowledge of FAS 109 accounting and tax principles, techniques and methods in performing job responsibilities Knowledge of standard business tools such as MS Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), Oracle or other similar ERP system knowledge Strong management and analytical skills Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with various levels of staff/management Masters Degree in Taxation a plus
