Sr. Staff Accountant- Palm Aire

In your role, you will help us deliver outstanding service and hospitality to our guests to ensure they have a memorable vacation while staying with our resorts each and every time. Responsibilities• Coordinate and oversee daily activity for income audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, General cashier, night audit and purchasing process. • Managing and supporting the development, implementation and administration of all financial control and accounting procedures, in compliance with  GAAP. • Prepare daily and weekly flash reports for resort management on actual performance verse budget and target for:  payroll, room revenue, food and beverage revenue by  outlet, banquets income and spa. • Prepare monthly reports for regional accounting offices to support corporate  accounting process. • Prepare monthly cash flow forecast. • Partner with corporate accountant in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and workpapers. • Assist Resort Manager in preparation of Annual Budgets and Monthly Forecasts. • Process Accounts Payable.  • Manage the Accounts Receivable Process • Partner with Resort Management team to ensure the resort maintains compliance with internal audit procedures • Assist Regional Office in preparation of monthly corporate financial statements and workpapers. • Special Projects as assigned • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience. • 1-2 years experience with Timeshare and/or Hotel Management Accounting Personal Qualifications: • Possess strong leadership abilities with good coaching and training skills. • Ability to work with others and communicate with multiple departments and all levels  of management • Ability to multi-task & coordinate multiple projects • Deadline conscious with strong drive, initiative and the ability to work well in  time-sensitive situations • Excellent organizational skills, strong work ethic and detail oriented.  Preferred Qualifications: • Peoplesoft • Property Management system (PMS) • Night Audit Experience
