Sr. Financial Analyst (Tax Emphasis)

Our client located in Phoenix is looking to expand their international business and is in search of a Senior Level Financial Analyst with a minimum of 5 year's income tax experience.Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA and/or Masters Degree in Taxation is a plus. International experience is also a plus.Job Duties are, but not limited to: Provide recommendations on structure and financial/tax set-ups to VP of Taxation and Finance Team. Assist with researching financial and US and foreign tax implications of new market development and operation tax, import duties, sales taxes (VAT, GST or other country specific taxes), payroll taxes and requirements for withholding and reporting on payments to vendors and independent contractors. Assist with post-expansion review of international operations to ensure proper implementation and documentation of financial, accounting and tax procedures and compliance with local tax (including transfer pricing) requirements. Assist with compiling and analyzing historical and forecast financial information and in developing pro forma budgets and financial/operational/tax plans for international expansion. Coordinate US and foreign tax planning and compliance with finance manager and foreign tax advisors as necessary. Assist in drafting, implementing and maintaining intercompany agreements to support financial, operational and tax planning objectives. Coordinate foreign tax issues with in-country finance manager, foreign tax advisors and VP of Taxation as necessary. Some international travel may be required. Working with confidential information.Skills Required: BS in Accounting CPA and/or Masters Degree in Taxation, a plus Proficiency in MS office: Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel Strong negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills and extremely detail-oriented. Work independently as well as in a team environment with employees of all levels.
