Sr. Financial Analyst - Please call 562-809-1419Description: Do you have an entertainment background in the financial analyst field? If so, we have a great opportunity to make you a star! Our customer is seeking a professional with Entertainment background. You will need to consolidate and improve process by reducing from 50 files and accommodating for day 1 goals, forecast and commit to cumbersome for all parties involved. Consolidate 50 forecast templates into one workbook that allocates one account per tab. Create an Access database that houses all forecast and actual data for the four regions, by SKU, by account. Create reports run queries that provide performance and forecast data with variances which may involve exporting to and from Excel. Forecast file and identify process to get actual data into forecast file and then create variance analysis that compares actual to forecast and new forecast to old forecast. Create process that adds monthly actual data utilizing SAP to update forecast model. Create variance models that compare prior forecast to current forecast including actual. Create a monthly reporting package that reports monthly performance and forecast in Excel and PowerPoint. Life-Cycle analysis. Collect historical data to calculate sell-in by month, POS by month, sell-thru and identify price protection timing may vary depending on release data. Team will use this data to create 8 to 15 life-cycle trends that can be easily inserted into the sales planning forecast template. Return and price protection analysis. Use historical data to calculate returns and price protection by platform and genre. Organize and analyze the data so that the team can be easily analyze the info and publish a monthly findings report. Requirements: Must be proficient in both Excel including macros and pivot tables and in Access for creating queries, exporting and importing data to and from Excel. Experience working with large corporate database systems. SAP experience is a plus. Excellent organizational skills. Process design experience is a plus.
