p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the Senior Analyst of West Area Compliance (System Security) are to ensure the proper controls and security access exists across Verizon Wireless applications to minimize control weaknesses, protect customer information, and support SOX controls.Major VZW applications supported by West Area profile security include: - VISION- ACSS- POS (NetAce, SFA-OM, OnePOS, ERoes)- VIIA/Dymax- ECPD- WFM- MARS- MTAS- CMS- OPALFront-End Systems Access Management (50%)- Establish, maintain, and update profile standards that dictate the level of access to VZW systems that employees of different functions are authorized to have.- Support changes in the business by working with various departments to understand their initiatives and facilitate their access needs in a risk-appropriate manner.- Communicate to users and/or leadership the unacceptable risks in granting system access and recommend alternative solutions when possible.- Approve/deny in a timely manner access requests filtered to Compliance by IT in the Remedy Queue system.- Maintain accurate documentation of access decisions, including granted exceptions, via e-mail and/or Microsoft files.Back-End Systems Access Management (35%)- Perform regular audits of systems access to identify and clean up non-compliant access. Communicate to the field movement of users to standard profiles as a result of audits.- Remove previously granted exception access when it is no longer needed/justified.- Identify and clean up redundant, unused, or outdated security profiles across departments and major VZW applications. - Design and implement improved controls and reporting to minimize future non-compliance.- Analyze and research anomalies and take corrective action when necessary.Area and National Program Management (15%)- Act as Area Compliance decision maker for Area departments requesting access to various systems.- Coordinate with other Area Compliance leads and National Compliance to standardize systems access.- Develop a partnership with the business and IT leaders to drive security teams towards collaborative solutions to business problems.- Support SOX testing of key systems controls performed by the system owners in each business channel.- Address escalations related to system security in a professional manner using personal judgment to make independent decisions. - Perform ad hoc Area Compliance project management and support. p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } QualificationsEducational Requirements:- BA/BS required - Management Information Systems, Finance, or Computer Science preferred - MBA preferredMinimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Strong project management and Area coordination experience required- Strong ability to analyze, trend, and evaluate data - High level understanding of the wireless industry and VZW business- High level understanding of Billing and POS systems- Ability to quickly understand system functionality and controls of varying VZW applications- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fast changing environment, often with changing priorities and tight time constraints- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of leadership throughout the organization- Advanced skills with Microsoft products (Access, Excel, and Power Point) - Strong interpersonal skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer m/f/d/v.
