If you have the talent and the drive to succeed, consider the following opportunity located in Fountain Valley, CA:  Specialist, Accounts Payable In this role, the chosen candidate will be primarily responsible for processing payment requests and ensuring timely disbursements, while providing general AP support, which includes researching and reporting on various aspects of a disbursement cycle. Key functions will include auditing payment requests on accounting documents and processing checks and PayMode batch. Responsible for creating payment groups, matching checks with supporting documents, routing for approval and mailing checks. This position will also process automated interface batch processing, provide technical support to Operating Departments on advanced accounting document processes, maintain current and archived vendor files, monitor the appropriate handling of current vendor files and coordinate the yearly vendor files archival process. Other duties will include providing general support for pulling vendor files from both onsite and the archival location, in addition to assisting with the yearly processing of Form 1099.   This position is ideal for a high school graduate with excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years experience are desired. We are in search of a detail-oriented individual who is a team player and is able to work independently, under the pressure of deadlines and multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be proficient in both Microsoft Word and Excel, and have strong 10-key by touch skills.
