Senior Vice President, SOX

The Senior Vice President and will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer. You will play a critical role in coordinating, managing and executing the internal control work to ensure compliance with SOX requirements and reporting to Senior Management. You will lead and implement all phases of SOX including scoping, design, remediation, testing, evaluation and certification. You will act as subject matter expert on all aspects of SOX. You will coordinate closely with external auditors on approach, timeline, levels of reliance, quarterly assessments by units, reporting and deficiency evaluation/aggregation. • CPA License • Five or more years of accounting, audit and/or internal controls experience in a public auditing or corporate environment. • Five or more years of experience with internal controls evaluation, COSO and SOX 404 requirements including all phases of planning, evaluation, documentation, testing and remediation. • Experience in performing risk assessment / business process transaction evaluation (taking a transaction and following it thru to the financial statements). • Ability to identify key areas for improvement and recommend solutions, especially in the area of internal controls Ability and willingness to perform work of both a detailed and high level nature • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization We offer an excellent salary and benefits package.
