This requires technical knowledge in domestic and international taxation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Provide tax planning assistance and technical support to the Tax Directors• Liaison with clients in the functional areas to provide advice and support• Manage and direct planning projects including dividend planning, Subpart F planning, FX hedging analysis and other special projects• Provide technical support to the Tax Provision, Tax Compliance and Tax Controversy Groups on technical issues• Provide technical and planning support to foreign affiliates• Provide tax coordination and support on U.S. Information Returns of Foreign Corporations• Assist with M&A due diligence and integration-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance-5+ years public and/or private industry experience Preferred Qualifications:-CPA, JD or MBA preferred-3-5 year of experience in international taxation- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills to work with all levels of staff and management- Demonstrated leadership capability and team leader/player skills Amgen is the leading human therapeutics company in the biotechnology industry.
