CITY/STATE: Phoenix, AZ 85001POSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: IT/Software DevelopmentSALARY: 70,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD /year Senior IT Auditor - Exceptional Opportunity     Senior IT Auditor - Exceptional OpportunityThis growing, multi billion dollar valley company has created a Senior IT Auditor position!  The IT Audit Senior performs independent reviews and evaluations of internal application and computer general controls, and provides value added suggestions for improving IT processes and controls, where appropriate, to support the achievement of the Internal Audit mission, to provide independent, objective assurance and business advisory services designed to add value and improve operations.  The main responsibilities include the following: Conduct in-depth audits of critical business applications, focusing on business process controls, application configurations, compliance with corporate policy, logical access controls, and change controls. Conduct audits/reviews of assigned business processes to evaluate adequacy of controls.  This will include documenting business processes, reviews of new system implementations, security administration, application processing, IT planning and monitoring. Determine whether operating units are performing administration and control procedures in compliance with management instructions, applicable statements of policies and procedures, and in a manner consistent with both Company objectives and industry accepted practices.
