Senior Financial Analyst/GL Accountant

Fortune 500 located in North Scottsdale company seeks Senior Financial Analyst/GL Accountant to join their growing team!  In this role, you will research, develop and implement process improvements including as-is process mapping, efficiency analysis, productivity analysis, and future-state process mapping.  You will also have direct responsibilities within the accounting department including policy development, audit, G/L reconciliation, and fixed asset depreciations.  Other key responsibilities include providing training and guidance to field controllers and other departments within the company, researching and maintaining unclaimed property database, and ensuring compliance with state escheat filings.  Interested candidates will have a Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field plus a minimum of 5 years experience in the following areas of accounting: payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.  Strong communication skills as demonstrated by internal and external client relations.  Strong project management skills and managing multiple priorities. For immediate consideration, please forward your resume in confidence to scoolidge@accountantsinc.com Accountants Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
