Senior ERP/Cost Analyst

Job Category:  AAccounting/Finance/Insurance Type:  Full Time, Employee Minimum Education:  Bachelor's Degree SENIOR ERP COST ANALYST Large company currently seeking 2 Senior Cost Accountant for the corporate location This position provides a single source of costing and financial analyst concerning all matters relating to the cost information in the ERP system.  You will provide analysis, advice, and counsel concerning cost problems, cost trends and cost improvement ideas.You will train and develop the others on business and financial principles and will lead or support other projects as required. You will support other locations with complex issues taking direction from the Supply Chain Manager. You will be responsible for working with business support on financial integrity and results.  You will also assist in reviewing monthly operating results, data and statistics, for unit management reporting. Duties: Internal and external cost analysis focusing on the key drivers of cost results. Facilitate between corporate management, accounting and all levels of the company communicating policies, procedures and guidelines. Report month-end operating results & variances with clear, concise documentation.Corporate Staff and Business unit accounting and reporting activities as assignedIncluding supporting the forecast and budget teams.Lead special projects to enhance efficiencies and streamline department processes. Provide overall leadership in the audit and maintenance of process documentationTo ensure accuracy, effectiveness and reliability of the established financial controls and participate in ERP testing activities.  Qualifications: " Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field " 2 - 4 years Finance and/or Cost Accounting experience " Strong analytical and communications skills " Manufacturing JDE/SAP experience a plus Contact UsManagement Recruiters of Elgin, Inc. 472 N.
