Senior Cost Analyst (JS)
The Mergis Group Senior Cost Analyst (JS) This challenging, yet rewarding role will provide essential analysis of accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting of specific business units. This is a great opportunity to oversee and analyze the monthly closings of the books in a top-tier communications organization. Job Description:· Perform monthly closing process including journal entry and entry analysis· Analyze and reconcile all assigned accounts including grants, net asset funds, and basic AP/AR accounts· Present financial results and analysis to management and provide guidance on the direction of assigned accounts· Provide heavy assistance with budget planning and creation· Assist with year-end closing preparation Job Requirements:· 2 years accounting experience, public accounting experience a major plus· Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance Required, CPA a plus· Excellent ability to compile, analyze, and interpret complex accounting data· Ability to understand and evaluate financial outcomes and their relation to accounting data· Solid communication and organizational skills Qualified candidates, please send a MS Word Document Resume to Joe Sinclair at joesinclair@mergisgroup.com .
