Senior Cost Analyst

The Senior Cost/Business Analyst will report to the VP Finance.  Will work closely with a VP of Operations and will assist in reporting, variance analysis and forecasting/budgeting for Valencia manufacturing operations.  The analyst will also help to provide financial support for any to day issues as well as lead ad-hoc financial projects.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

v      Implement and monitor standard work procedures for inventory reporting and product costing

v      On-going review and validation of Bill of Materials/Bill of Operations

v      Lead monthly forecasting and reporting for variable and fixed manufacturing costs

v      Drive inventory analysis, including variances

v      Prepare and assist with quarterly and year-end corporate packages

v      Prepare and respond to ad-hoc financial planning and analysis requests

v      Report of inventory, productivity, headcount, and capital, and assisting in cycle count inventory and budget processes

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Ten plus years manufacturing experience

 

EDUCATION:

 

CPA or MBA preferred
