This position is responsible for identifying risks in large system implementations like Oracle Financials 12 and an identity management solution. This person works closely with the team that defines security and controls within impacted systems and processes. This person is also responsible for overseeing the SOX general computer controls and application controls testing.

 

Responsibilities:

• Participate in system implementations (e.g. pre- and post implementation reviews, data conversion reviews, security scans, functional and technical design reviews), in particular an Oracle 12 implementation

• Participate in an identity management implementation

• Manage SOX compliance audits covering both general computer controls and application controls

• Identify IT risks, scope/plan review activities, and escalate findings and recommendations to upper management where necessary

• Ensure quality of work papers and reports acceptable to both management and external audit

• Manage both Juniper internal audit employees and co-sourced resources

• Participate / lead monthly IT risk meetings with participation from both IT and business

• Perform / assist with IT consulting engagements

• Develops and maintains strong working relationships with key business and IT decision makers with a commitment to continually improve the quality of audits

• Improve the use of data analysis tools

• Work closely with senior management, experienced auditors, and outsourced audit service providers in assessing and reporting on controls over IT

• Improve company wide IT risk awareness

• Interact with SOX PMO and SOX IT PMO

• Lead audit staff in the review of risks and controls in the implementation of Oracle product

• Quickly understand Juniper’s business model and processes

• This position involves very limited travel

 

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in MIS Audit, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent required

• CISA, CISSP, or Oracle certification highly desirable

• IT audit experience at one of the Big 4 accounting firms including three years supervision experience of professional audit staff

• 8+ years of IT audit experience with IT project management, system development methodologies, and/or business or IT operations, extensive experience in pre- and post reviews of systems implementations

• Experience with the execution of SOX IT attestations covering both general computer controls and application controls testing, including quality reviews of work papers

• Experience with planning and scheduling reviews, status reporting to management

• Oracle 11i / 12 expertise: implementations, security and controls

• Training and motivation of team members, including performance management

• Managed large teams and several projects simultaneously

• Working knowledge of COBIT standards

• Varied IT audit experience

• Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with people of all levels of the corporate structure

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills for the purpose of scoping audits, writing audit findings and recommendations, identifying risks and performing internal control assessments

• Ability to professionally and competently represent the internal audit department when interacting with all levels of company staff

• Ability to execute IT audits in a team environment (integrated approach)
